Milton High School Athletic Association For The Cause
Funding For Athletic Trainer for ALL Student-Athletes

Robin Kleimon, a Certified Athletic Trainer from Children’s Healthcare, is currently on staff at Milton High School through a special arrangement negotiated by our Athletic Director, Jamie Dixon. Historically, the Athletic Department has been fortunate to receive these services in exchange for an exclusive advertising on campus since the Fulton County does not provide funds for this service. For the 2008-2009 school year, Children’s Healthcare will only fund a portion of this cost through the advertising arrangement. $20,000 needs to be raised to fund and keep Robin on staff. She is an extremely valuable resource to your student-athlete. Robin usually arrives around 2:30pm every school day to set up the training room and get ready for all after school activities. She oversees a student trainer program at the school using guidelines that she has prepared. Robin believes that this is a great opportunity for students that might be interested in a career in the medical field. Based on their interest, Robin mentors them on all aspects of being a Certified Athletic Trainer. Robin gives treatment to injured athletes as well has rehab to get back into competition. She typically treats 30 to 40 student athletes daily. She is available at Milton during all practices and home events. She is even available for away events at the request of a coach. Her dedication is such that she is at the school everyday until all events and/or practices are over and will even work Saturdays. Please help Milton High School continue to keep this valuable asset for your student-athlete.
